This toping is not for everybody, though I really do like it from time to time. Salmon, lemon and ricotta just wok so well together.
Ingredients
Fish:
- 200g salmon
- tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/4tbsp white pepper
- 1/4tbsp salt
Other toppings:
- tomato sauce
- buffalo mozarella
- ricotta
- ripe lemon
Instructions
Cut the fish and marinade it the day before. Let it rest in the fridge. When preparing the pizza start with tomato sauce then add the mozarella. Afterward add the salmon and at last a few dots of ricotta cheese.
After baking generously sprinkle the pizza with fresh lemon juice.
Tips
- Adjust the amount of fish depending how many pizzas you want to prepare.
- I usually only use a part of the bought fish for pizza and use the rest in some other dish the day before.
