This sweet pizza variant is an easy and fast way to conjure a great dessert for a pizza party.
Ingredients
- apple (sour tasting works better than sweet ones)
- sugar
- cinnamon
- dash of good rum (skip it otherwise)
Instructions
Peel the apple and slice it as thin as you can. When preparing the dough, go for a big bottom with little crust on the outside. This one does not work well with big crumbs. Once formed place the apple slices on the dough. You aim for covering most of the dough, though try to not go with thick slices or to overlap too much. Afterwards add some sugar and a dash cinnamon on top of the apples. The amount of sugar is really up to your preference. Make sure that all the sugar is on the pizza, not the sides or on other working materials as it will burn into your pizza stone very badly otherwise.
You can sprinkle a bit of rum on top of it before baking. I would not recommend this however if you dont have great rum, or it will overtone everything in a bad way.
After baking cut and serve directly. Note that the sugar will have caramelized and is super hot. However if you wait too long the dough will get soggy, so do not wait too long.

- try smaller, more dense apples. Big ones tend to have more water content, which should be avoided for this pizza so the dough stays crispy for a bit longer
