White bean humus is a really nice and easy dip that goes with quite a lot of dishes. For this version I do use mostly canned ingredients, so it is super fast to prepare.
Ingredients
Humus:
- 800g can white beans
- 1-5 garlic cloves
- pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Topping:
- 1 glass grilled peppers (ca 700g)
- some thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
As an alternative to the topping you can just use some Ajvar.
Instructions
Rinse the white beans. Depending on your liking add the wanted amount of garlic. If you want it to be decent go with one clove. Default I would go with 2. However, if you like garlic and are in need of some intense flavor, go up to 5 cloves (though I would recommend you to start with 2). Blend everything together until smooth.
For the topping you can use Ajvar or anything similar to that. When you use grilled peppers try to get as much fluid out of them as possible. I do that by pressing them into the jar with my first. Once done blend the topping ingredients together.
