I tried to get some decent fried desert for quite a while but without any success. Altering the approach resulted in this recipe. It is nothing that you would get in a chinese restaurant, though it does deliver in colour and crisp. Two factors that are important for this dish in my humble opinion.
Ingredients
- pineapple slices
- egg
- 2tbsp flour
- 2tbsp corn starch
- dash of salt
- butter to fry
Instructions
Mix the egg, salt, flour and corn starch. Preheat a pan and melt some butter in it. Place the pineapple slices in the mix and cover them on all sides. Now fry them on medium high heat until golden brown on both sides.
