Rösti is an traditional swiss potato based dish. Super fat, but super delicious.
Ingredients
- 500g potatoes
- 100g carrots
- 200g courgette
- 10g parsley
- salt & pepper
Instructions
Grate potatoes, carrots and courgette. Salt it and let it rest for a few minutes. Press as much liquid of the potato mass as you can. The mass should reduce in weight by at least 300g. Add pepper and parsley.
Preheat a pan with heat resistant oil. Form patties with your hands and let them fry about 6-8 minutes on both sides.
Tests
I tried to add ‘Graukas’ to the mix (ca 100g to the whole mass). Pretty nice, though plain was the better option.
