Another try at a rice cake recipe. This time a bit more involved, but still quite simple and fast.
Ingredients
-
150g rice cake
-
300g water
-
300g minced beef
-
125g frozen spinach
-
30g spring onion
-
2tbsp soj sauce
-
1tbsp dark soj sauce
-
1tbsp oyster sauce
-
1tsp sugar
-
1/2tsp sesame oil
Instructions
Fry the minced beef until it is golden brown in a pan. Place it aside.
Rinse the rice cakes and bring the water to a boil ik the samme pan as before. As I used frozen spinach, I let it thawn directly in the water.
Once the water boils, add the rice cake and the sauce ingredients.
Let that thicken in until the sauce has a nice consistency. This should take around 15 minutes.
Next time…
- reduce water from 300g to 200g as spinach looses a lot of water
