Easy Rice Cake

My first meal using rice cake. It is very simple, but delicious.

Ingredients

  • 150g rice cake

  • 300g water

  • 1/4tsp salt

  • 1tsp minced darlic

  • 1/4tsp minced ginger

  • 1/4tsp gochujang (2tsp if it is not very spicy)

  • 1/2tsp korean chili flakes

  • 1tsp sugar

  • 2tsp water

  • 1tsp lemon juice

  • 100g sweet potatoe

Instructions

Rinse the rice cakes and bring the water to a boil in a pan. Prepare the sauce and slice the sweet potatoes

Once the water boils, add the rice cake. Once the water is boiling again, add the sauce and vegetables.

Note: depending on the vegetables you migth want to add some of it later in case it would fall appart with a 15 minute cook.

Let that thicken in until the sauce has a nice consistency. This should take around 15 minutes.
