Crispy Chicken Wings v2

Another go at chiken wings using a oven and a single tray. Not much to clean, which is always welcome.

Ingredients

  • 1kg chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp baking powders
  • 3/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp tonion powders

Instructions

Mix the dry ingredients together. Wash and try the checken wings. Dry them off well as this is key for a crisp result.

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. In the meanwhile, roll the wings in the spice mix so they are evenly covered.

Place the chicken wings on baking paper on a baking tray up side down. After 10 minutes, turn them and let them bake for another 10 minutes.

When turning them, remove the baking paper and use a fresh one!

When using the same baking tray they eather sog in their own fat (and you loose the crispyness). If you turn them and place them on a unused part of the baking paper the oil/spice mix will burn while the wings bake. This happened to me twice. It did not affect the taste of the wings, but the smell was quite noticeable in the kitchen for a while.
